Just wondering what we can expect from LA radio this decade? We are trying to stay ahead of the curve with programming but it sorta seems like we've been taking steps backward into a "safer" zone with our programming choices. In my opinion, this is going to hurt in the long run and I hope to see some advances in the New Year!
Well Ibiza, unfortunately until Clear Channel either goes bankrupt or sells off a majority of its stations including the ones in LA and NY, its gonna be the same ol story with layoffs and other "cost-cutting" moves. There's not much more left to cut until the industry hits rock bottom, then hopefully other up and coming radio companies will take over and revitalize the business by taking over stations. There's always hope and hopefully some form of intervention in the future. Radio needs to make a comeback free of corporate rule.
